Our Story

How Mother India Foundation began its journey to educate India's children.

Our Story

Our Story

Founded in 2010, MiF began with a simple vision — to create a society where every child has access to education, safety, dignity, and equal opportunities. What started as a small initiative driven by compassion has grown into a dedicated movement working for the welfare and empowerment of underprivileged children across India.\n\nOver the years, we have reached out to thousands of children and families in rural, tribal, and urban slum communities. By focusing on education, child protection, healthcare support, and women empowerment, we aim to address the root causes of vulnerability and create sustainable pathways for growth.\n\nWe believe that real change happens when communities come together. Through the collective efforts of our volunteers, partners, educators, and donors, we continue our journey to bring hope, confidence, and brighter futures to children who need it most.

2012 • Educational Support Initiatives

We launched our first formal educational programs, providing academic guidance, tuition support, and learning materials to children from low-income families to help them stay in school.

2014 • Expanding Community Outreach

The foundation expanded its reach to rural and underserved areas, setting up community learning centers and organizing awareness camps on child rights and health hygiene.

2016 • Fighting Child Labour & Child Marriage

We initiated dedicated grassroots campaigns to spread awareness against child labour and early marriage, working closely with families and community leaders to protect children’s childhoods.
